शुद्धाद्वैतमार्तण्ड (Suddha Advaita Martanda) Bhāratavarşa is a country of diverse sects, sampradāyas religions and philosophies. Pustimārga holds unique position amidst them as it is distinct from all of them in respect of its concepts, precepts, aims, ideals and characteristics. Śrī Vallabhācārya is the pioneer who has promulgated and propounded pustimārga the devotional path of grace, and śuddhādvaitavāda the philosophy of pure-non-dualism. Śrī Vitthalanāth Prabhucaraņa, Śrī Gokulanāthajī, Śrī Harirāya Mahāprabhu and Śrī Puruşottamaji Lekhavāle are pre-eminent scholars who have contributed a lot to the evolvement, extension and enrichment of the devotion of grace-Puști-Bhakti and the philosophy of Pure-non-dualism – Śuddhādvaitavāda.

Goswāmī Śrī Giridharajī Mahārāja, well-known as काशी के गुसाँईं – ‘kāśī ke Gusain’ his own time, has earned great name and fame as a celebrity and scholar, in Pustimārga and Śuddhadvaita Vedanta, and, as such, he stands in the same line alongwith these great personages hallowed with luminary light of divinity. He was pre-eminent among the Goswami Acāryas of his time, and was loved and respected by all for his learning and vast knowledge of devotional and philosophical subject-matters.
