Some Unexplored Aspects of the Rasa Theory About ten years ago there was a suggestion that I should translate the Hindi work ‘Rasasiddhanta Ke Analocita Pakṣa’ of Professor B.M. Chaturvedi into English. I agreed to undertake the work. But I could not take up the work till the year, 1993. My friendship with Professor Chaturvedi which started with correspondence goes back to 1957 when he was a student of M.A. (Sanskrit) in the Banaras Hindu University and I was a candidate appearing for the same examination. Ever since it was growing like the “Dinasya parardhabhinna chāyā” (after-noon shadow). Now I am very happy for being able to present his valuable work to the non-Hindi people through the English garb.
